The spring of 2013 has been outstanding for the pre-runoff fishing. The Skwala hatch started early and has been excellent. I have been lucky so far and have not had to do much nymphing at all. We have had some great weather and with the low snow pack the river levels have been ideal. There has been a bump in the water the last few days which often makes the fishing a little less predictable but with the cooler weather coming I expect April will be fantastic dry fly fishing. Last Thursday one of my anglers scored a 24" Brown on a dry skwala. This is a great way to start out the season. Sorry no pics of that one. My angler took a few but I didn't want to subject the fish to any further harassment. I do have a few pics of the last few trips.
